Day one from Belize City

The team met some old friends and some new faces at the Belize Airport, along with our host, Pastor Eliu. We took a bus ride to our home for the week, Rainforest Haven Inn. 

After a few hours of travel, we settled into our rooms for the week and were excited to know our individual rooms will have air conditioning, something that will help us relax each evening after a hard day’s work. 

Tonight we met as a group to sort supplies and prepare mentally and spiritually for the week ahead. We’ll be serving five different areas and will need to setup and tear down our clinic each day. We have a goal of serving 200-250 patients a day. We look forward to serving the first clinic of the trip Saturday.
